I am so excited to teach Art and Theatre at the Junior High and High School. I am a proud Longhorn and have my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. I spent several years as a "starving artist" acting, singing, and dancing on stage and screen in New York City and Los Angeles, and I lived out of a suitcase for two years performing in the European Broadway Tour of "Grease." As an educator, I served as the head of the Theatre Arts Departments at both Clear Creek High School and Mansfield High School before moving to Hamilton with my husband, Shalor Craig. In 2008, I directed the UIL One Act Play State Champion Play and was also nominated 3 years in a row for the Casa Manana Betty Buckley Musical Theatre Awards. My favorite "role" is being a mother to my three sons Kellan, Carter, and Nolan. I have directed 7 productions with the Hamilton Civic Theatre and am an owner and art instructor at the Studio on the Square. My favorite hobbies include making jewelry and pottery, singing karaoke, and spending as much time as possible on the beach! I love sharing Art and Theatre with my students and I believe every child is a Masterpiece!
