Dear HHS Students and Families,
I am thrilled to welcome you back to school for the 2019-2020 year at Hamilton High School. The Hamilton High faculty and staff are busy preparing the school and classrooms for an exciting year of learning and growth and change. We are looking forward to hearing about your summer experiences, getting caught up with returning families, and meeting our newest Bulldogs.
A well-rounded education means outstanding instruction from highly prepared teachers, as well as extracurricular opportunities and supports that enable students to develop character, cultivate passions, and explore the world outside of the classroom. As the Principal at HHS, I am committed to ensuring that student needs and interests help shape instruction and extracurricular opportunities. Through this shared commitment to learning, I am excited to see students engaged in meaningful learning in the classroom, scoring the winning point on the field or court, performing in the band, excelling in our Ag program, our FCCLA program, or any other area that peaks student interest and passion.
We are extremely excited to announce our new certification programs. Students can now graduate from Hamilton High School with certifications in Welding, Phlebotomy, Cosmetology, and Certified Nurse's Aide.
At Hamilton HS student success is the goal of every staff member. We believe with our dedication to high quality, research-based best practices, every student will learn at their full potential. To help support us in achieving this goal we ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
Have a great rest of the summer!
Warm regards,
Gina Poe, Principal
