I'm originally from Hamilton, but we moved away when I was young. Many of my relatives lived in the Hamilton area, so every year I spent time here with grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins. I graduated college from Texas A&M with a Bachelors in Biomedical Science and a Masters in Kinesiology. After a short time of teaching chemistry and coaching in a high school, I was hired by the Kinesiology department at the University of Texas in Austin. I continued to teach in Austin for 19 years and then went to work for USA Archery in conjunction with the U.S. Olympic Committee. I served for several years as High Performance Director for Archery, which included serving as the Team Leader for the archery team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. In 2009 I decided to move back to "the farm" in Texas and subsequently was hired to teach for Hamilton ISD. I'm very happy to be here and thoroughly enjoy working with the young people of this district. This is home to me.
